A la Carte

I revitalized the brand identity for A la Carte, an organic dried fruits company based in Jiyugaoka, Tokyo.

  • A la Carte needed a complete overhaul of its brand and visual identity to stay competitive in a growing market. The new design needed to appeal to both local customers and the increasing number of international visitors, with a style suitable for merchandising.

  • Through extensive research and discovery, I developed a new brand identity that emphasizes flexibility and differentiation. The redesigned logo features a chalkboard style with a pineapple, A la Carte’s best-selling product, ensuring quick recognition and reinforcing the brand’s organic roots. The updated visual identity includes consistent design elements for merchandising, enhancing brand coherence across all platforms.

  • The new brand identity was rapidly embraced, leading to significant sales growth in both core products and merchandise. A la Carte expanded to a second location and achieved robust online sales. Six years later, the brand identity continues to be relevant and impactful, contributing to sustained business success.
