Curore

I developed the complete branding for Curore Coffee & Croissant, a new croissant coffee shop located in a busy station near Osaka, Japan. The project required delivering a unique and memorable brand identity within a tight three-month timeframe.

  • The timeframe was particularly tight with the opening only 3 months prior to my engagement. The client aimed to launch a croissant coffee shop from scratch, with branding reflecting quality and comfort. The visual identity had to stand out but maintain a modern elegance and be unique, memorable, and attractive. The target audience was primarily women working in the area, but it also had to appeal to weekend locals.

  • I developed a comprehensive brand identity conveying quality and comfort, ensuring it was unique but familiar. To make the brand stand out and be visible from a distance, I included a croissant logo mark that would be instantly identifiable. The packaging and interior design were crafted to be highly 'Instagrammable,' encouraging customers to share their experiences on social media and creating a memorable atmosphere. The design work was also done with brand expansion in mind. I contributed to the interior design for a cozy and inviting atmosphere through illustrative work that was painted throughout the store. I provided creative post ideas and visually engaging graphics to the social media director and offered extensive branding insights and guidance throughout the project.

  • The project was completed on time, with all design work delivered as scheduled for the launch. The client was highly satisfied with the outcome. The croissant coffee shop has been thriving since its opening, and social media engagement has been strong and positive.
