The client wanted to establish a new brand of body care and hair care products for men. In such a crowded market, it was essential to create distinct branding that would resonate with the target audience of discerning, style-conscious men and achieve strong shelf presence in both retail stores and barber shops.

For strategy, we first established entry into the market with a small line of shower products and then focused on the hero line of hair styling goods. To resonate with the target users and to have shelf presence, I created a modern-vintage brand identity that is easily recognizable and lends to repeat purchases.
It was necessary to work closely, within manufacturing parameters with several different print companies - each with differing color and print guidelines.

The brand was well received from the beginning and has grown quickly. Products are available throughout Japan in major retailers as well as in barber shops. The brand often holds customer events for promotions and now offers its growing range of products internationally. Positive feedback from customers and strong brand recognition have contributed to its rapid expansion and success.
